Business Plan for small and startup businesses

The most common planning tool for startup and very small businesses is a Business Plan. In such a small-company business plan, all of the planning components (such as the Marketing Plan) are integrated into the Business Plan.

Strategic Business Plan for larger and high-tech organizations
For larger organizations, we propose developing a high-level Strategic Plan (StratPlan) followed by business plans for each major division or line of business. There should always be a specialized division plan for the Information Systems area (SIS Plan) and for organizations with substantial intellectual property (IP Plan).

Intellectual Property Plan (IP Plan)

New product development of any type requires very carefully planned, integrated, long-term planning. The IP Plan integrates the planning process and the product pipeline with patent protection and sustainable competitive advantage. Strategic Information Systems Plan (SIS Plan)

Supply chain and impact associated with the customers, must be addressed. By definition, all consumers, governments and businesses must eventually become sustainable. Moving toward sustainability is a process that starts first with a plan to develop a plan.
